This is a paralegal position with a potential to progress to qualification as a Solicitor in the future for the right candidate.
> Supporting fee earners in preparation of their cases
> Legal Aid applications
> Assisting with Lexcel compliance
> Attending Court and conferences
> Conduct legal research
> Administrative duties
Qualifications and Experience
> Completion of the LPC is desirable; for those seeking SQE, experience in a criminal practice is essential
> Knowledge of Lexcel compliance is desirable
> Experience of Legal Aid applications
> Excellent understanding of the criminal process from the police station to the Crown Court
