SOLICITOR
Newly Qualified to 3 years PQE
The Role
A fantastic opportunity for an outstanding criminal Solicitor to join our busy and successful practice.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the ideal candidate will be highly motivated, dedicated, professional, a team player, have a genuine passion for criminal defence work and take pride in their work. Excellent client care and effective communication are essential.
We practise in all areas of criminal litigation including inquest and inquiry work and have an outstanding reputation in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
​> Managing own caseload of Police Station, Magistrates Court and Crown Court files
​> Police Station and Court attendance
​> Assisting with Lexcel compliance
​> Preparing articles on relevant areas for publication on the website and social media
Qualifications and Experience
> Newly qualified - 3 years PQE
> Knowledge of Lexcel compliance is desirable
> Confident and experienced in managing your own caseload
> Experience dealing with a combination of legal aid and private clients
> Experience working on VHCCs cases is desirable
